Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God’s love to hurting children in a tangible way by partnering with churches worldwide to deliver gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Oak Valley’s participation the past couple of years has been so great with donations of over 440 boxes sent off to bless so many children across the lands. Thank you to all who put so much love into each one that was made. We have much to prepare for in the coming 2019 Christmas season!
Room in the Inn
Room in the Inn is a ministry Oak Valley supports each winter. It offers homeless men a place to stay with a home-cooked meal, a clean bed, and sharing the gospel through fellowship. Eight men from the Nashville Rescue Mission that have been background checked by their staff are eligible to stay in the Oak Valley North House for one night each week. Sunday school classes have a rotating responsibility to organize meals, stay with the men, and provide items for their stay. Room in The Inn began the 1st Tuesday in November, 2018 and continued through March 26, 2019. We are praying for lives to be changed during this time of giving to the least of these.
